10th Birthday

Today Taylor is 10 years old. How time flies. She is a beautiful, happy child that loves life and what each day it brings. Last night she was so excited she could hardly go to sleep. She had two of her BEST friends over today. It was Kimberly and Marrisa. She would have liked to have had her cousin Desirae and a friend called Ariel; but they were both out of town. The girls swam in the pool; played, ate, played some more, ate cake and ice cream, played some more and settled into sleeping bags in the patio for the night. They are good friends together. Surprisingly, it's 11:00 and they are asleep.???!? She got many calls today: Mommy Britton and Jason; Bette Shipley; Aunti Arlene and Uncle Lloyd and last night from elderly ladies in the church - Margaret and Mary Euren. We bought her a sleeping bag and Polly Pocket Mall. A pleasant surprise was a phone call from Bette Shipley in the evening to find out that Taylor had won the drawing today from the program called "Riding on Angels Wings" and she gets to be the one horse rider along with Bette in the Felton Field Day Parade this Saturday. She was SO EXCITED!! She will be riding all alone!! What a thrill for her. The program will be having a float with other kids sitting and throwing candy out to people along the route. I WILL be taking pictures.
